Organizational Trainings Designed for Your Company

Each program we offer is customized to meet the needs of your company, based on interviews with executives, management and employees. Here are some examples of the programs we offer:

Well Being in the Face of Stress

What is it that allows people to remain calm regardless of circumstances, and why does that matter? Many people mistake stress and intensity for seeing the importance of a project and taking it seriously. Research has shown, however, that the more stress a person experiences, the more mistakes and poor decisions they are likely to make.

It’s hard to lead well or work well when your stress is high or you’re in a low mood. Having more well being at work is a natural result of understanding these principles, and there is a direct correlation between well being and performance in business. Also, the more well being people have, the more that trust and rapport become part of the company culture. Through discussion, dialogue and exercises, people begin to see the connection between business performance and their mental life.

“I’m so much more relaxed and effective with the people I supervise. If a conflict arises I seem to naturally bypass my old response/reactions. Now instead of disciplining employees I’m finding that understandings seem to arise naturally between us. What a lot of unnecessary energy I was losing in my old communication habits!”

– Jim Neely, Environmental Planner and Supervisor

The Optimal Leadership Seminar

This course demonstrates how a deeper understanding of one’s mental life allows leaders to become more creative, and tap resources within their employees that can lead to significant benefits for the organization. Once people understand the nature of psychological functioning, they are able to leverage their own capacities for well being and effectiveness at every level of corporate performance. Participants gain skills for capitalizing on states of mind that allow them to reliably make good decisions and generate trust and confidence in employees. This allows leaders to generate a company culture where people love to come to work. The trickle-down effect is that management and workers become generative and innovative, improving productivity and sales. This training raises a person’s level of understanding in a way that affects all areas of an executive’s life at once.

“There was a moment when it felt like a cloud lifted in my mind. Life became clear. I relaxed at a deeper level than I’d ever experienced before. Options and alternatives I had never conceived of became apparent. Issues dissolved away and life looked easy. I’d recommend this experience without qualification.”

–Charles Kiefer, President, Innovation Associates

Calm, the Key to Performance

What do Tiger Woods and Steve Jobs have in common? They understand that it’s your state of mind more than anything else that allows you to outperform your competitors. Many top performers have an intuitive understanding of how to leverage their state of mind to maximize performance, though they cannot always translate that ability into other areas of their lives. Why do people make good decisions when they do; what leads to ‘out-of-the-box’ ideas; what allows for a flow state of mind? This course demonstrates how mental calm leads to clarity, the capacity to make sound decisions and have big picture thinking. It allows people to harness powers of performance unavailable to a mind that is distracted or burdened by stress. It also shows the natural, big picture thinker how to translate that ability to their life outside of work.

Understanding the Creative Mind

Everyone has the capacity to be creative, but for many, creativity is a mystery. Others find their creativity slipping away as their minds get full of their tasks at work. This course teaches people how to recognize innate mental states that reliably allow for new, fresh, original thinking and insights that occur ‘out of the blue.’ Creativity and performance go hand-in hand; the more innovative a company’s leaders and employees, the more productive and successful the company will be. People who receive this training find that they are able to access their creative abilities more frequently and more reliably.

I’m much smarter at meetings now – so much clearer about what needs to be done and needs to be said. My golf game has improved too – it’s so neat not to be taking the last shot to the next shot. This has been happening for long enough now that I know it’s a keeper – I don’t see this going away.”

– Jon Gollinger, President, Collaborative Companies
